two worlds. The traditional life, with structure that fits the living conditions on one side, with the ideal of way of life and beauty of the globalized world on the other. The kids and young adults in the Kavango Region, in northern Namibia, have to face the gap between the modern life, with cellphones, facebook accounts, western values and ideals, and the traditional life of their ancestors on a daily basis. In Gumma, a small village on the waterfront of the Kavango river, the traditional struc- tures are the backbone and livelihood of the families. They have adapted perfectly to the environmental conditions and needs of the people.
