The Ahrntal or italian Valle
Aurina in Southern Tyrol, is a
small valley, typical for that
region, with its small villages
surrounded by peaks covered
eternal ice alpine pastures, farms
etc. sporadical you find some
tourism, but the big part of the
valley is affected by agriculture.

In late summer of 2009, I was
given the opportunity join two
professional hunters on there
regular trips through their terri-
tory and a group of shepperds,
taking down their sheeps, after
they spend the summer in the
mountains surrounding the valley.
